Mec Camitan Arevalo is the lucky wife of a guy whose family has a resthouse in Gasan, Marinduque that overlooks the Tres Reyes isles. She fell in love with Marinduque during their honeymoon there and is bent on bringing friends over to also fall in love with its rustic charm and simplicity.

He’s an affliate of different photography groups such as ‘Taong Kalye’ in Flickr and ‘lente ni juan‘. His fields in photography are Streetphotography, Portraits and Landscapes. “My late mother is from Boac, Marinduque and belongs to Mascarenas clan.
I’m a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer by profession but a hobbyist photographer since my college days. Started to use manual film cameras using negative and slide films doing mostly events, street photography, portraitures, nature and landscapes photography. Before, I’m very hesistant to use digital as my medium of photography but bought my first compact digital camera last 2005 as back-up of my slide photography.

Now, based in Singapore and enjoying my passion for photography during weekends using digital SLR.  Currently owned digital cameras: Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EOS 40D and associated Canon L lenses.
